When you have a fade haircut, your hair will progressively become shorter from one point to another.
Some of the cuts are front to back. You have more hair in the front and less in the back. This is a popular hairstyle for men, but women with short hair can have this cut as well.
Others start in the middle and end on the sides. You have little hair on the sides of your head, by your ears. The most hair can be found in the front middle. Some people turn fade haircuts into Mohawks. They shave the sides of their heads and leave hair in the middle. The middle had the most hair and as you get closer to the ears, the hair lessens.
This type of haircut is so popular these days because there are so many variations to it. A few were mentioned above. When you go to the barber shop or hair salon, just ask for exactly what you want. The barber should know how to do it.
If you are wary about trusting someone with cutting your hair, bring in a picture of what you want. The picture can be a photo of a celebrity who already has the haircut. Or you can sketch a picture yourself if you haven’t seen the style on anyone else before.
The great thing about these haircuts is that when your hair grows back, it still looks nice. Your hair will grow into the same style that it has been cut in. The only difference will be the length, or amount of hair. The only exception is the Mohawk.
